Solar light tube

My mother is thinking of having a light tube fitted in her lounge but the showroom of the company are in northampton - as she lives in Preston Lancs an inspection visit is not possible before purchase. Does anyone know of a light pipe installation within a reasonable distance of Preston that she could have a look at.

ive heard they can be bought as a diy kit for 200 quid. imported?

companies in the uk seem to charging 500-1500 quid to supply & fit.
