    see post #2.

Thanks, had a look at that.

I was thinking of the simple SIPP with the Vanguard 80% to start with for a while but I want to start the SIPP from scratch off drip feeding and the platform fee put me towards the Blackrock. My S&S ISA has more spice etc added with the VLS 60% with various other funds.

I will have a think, I could just accept the £2 fee and build the pot up and go Vanguard again but 80% this time in the SIPP and keep it more simple, in the long term the platform fee might be worth paying. I pay my other one on my debit card monthly so don't really notice it although I have a decent amount in now in the S&S ISA and let the pot grow.

The buy sell spread on Blackrock is something to consider also and good point.

    Will have a think :)
  • Decided to change the drip amount to the SIPP to the Vanguard 80% for this simple SIPP. The Vanguard was what I really preferred but the platform fee swayed me opening this on a drip feed, but decided in the long run this is what I prefer so will pay the fee and the amount will build in time and will top it up more when my ISA limits fill etc.

With more added in the S&S ISA will be keeping this simple while it builds up like this.
