B&C insurance for a timber framed flat!!!

Options
Hi Everyone!

I've been using the site for a while now in a viewing capacity, but the time has now come for me to ask for some advice/help.

I own a 1960's built maisonette flat. It is timber framed with timber weatherboarding at the front and rear. The other walls are brick (dividing the neighbours).

I have been searching for an insurer who will insure this type of property for both building and contents. I'm currently with Zurich (through Bristol & West), but I feel my renewal is excessive. Unless I can find anything cheaper, I'm stuck with them.

Does anyone know such an insurer through their own experience or of someone else's?

Many thanks for any assistance offered!
