I can't see that thread on loquax, it says it's restricted or something because i haven't posted on there, so any important updates like that you have just posted, where someone has confirmed a password please keep us informed :)

Edit: As an afterthought, have they been confirming the passwords each day by text?? if so are all our passwords to date correct?? Thanks

    Today's clue:-

What, mail-wise, might poor polly tonybee start to worry about, in today's media?

From an article on Daily Mail in the Media section:-

"Poor Toynbee might start to worry about some of her neighbours."

So I concur with Loquax, though there are other 10 letter words in the article.

Todays prize is 5 lots of £100 Play.com vouchers.

I might be wrong but I think its been getting easier to find the clues - maybe not too many people are entering? Also, I normally pick up a discarded copy on the train, this is a moneysaving site, LOL:
Though I do buy it at the weekends.

Good good, seemed the most relevant this morning when i was scouring through, but you can never be 100% sure so it's always nice to have other opinions to confirm :)

Nevermind, just checked at loquax. 'compsite' has checked and today's (21st May, 2007) password is: neighbours.

Please be careful about copying over from Loquax. There is quite a history to this has it has happened in the past both ways. Posters on Loquax got upset because their answers were copied here and posters on mse got upset because their answers were copied on Loquax.

In the end there was basically an understanding that copying wouldn't happen either way.

Well that's a bit of a weird arrangement.

Though Tyrannical had posted the 'neighbours' answer before I checked over at loquax.

:) It is a bit unusual, which is why I thought I should explain it.

    Today's clue =

    "11s solution on Extra's 23"

I think its the answer to 11 across in a crossword on P23 of their Extra pullout. The clue is "Perspicacity (10)" to which I think the answer is Astuteness. Though another possibility is perception but that'd need different answers to the other crossword clues.

I think the answer is Astuteness.

That is correct, but I can't say how I know that it's correct. ;)
