I had figured it was a word search and found what looked like a probable question. This led to needing a word with a 'y' in the 5th letter and a 'b' for the eight letter. analysable was the only word i could find which fitted......but perhaps i am wrong there could be another word or question. We will see tomorrow....

Hi xpungy. Think I liked your first question better as Victory was a ship rather than a boat if we want to be technical about it. Well worked out!

And thank you all for the answers. I didn't read it properly and only entered the first draw and the ninth! DOH!

Congratulations to Xpungy for working out today's clue yesterday, I'm well impressed!

    Today's clue:

"Disasterous media marriage remains, we think, endlessly this"

Then in an article about Liz Jones and Nirpal Dhawiwal (ex Marie Claire editor & joke writer) it says:

"Yet their relationship remains endlessly analysable."

    Today's daily prize is 10 x 80GB Ipods.

Supplementary clue for the £10,000 prize -"The words TAO and BE are red herrings".

EDIT - after a few searches for Nelson's tomb inscription I've found the following:-

HORATIO VISC NELSON (on the sarcophasis)

And his last call to prayer is written on a plaque on the base

"May the great God, whom I worship, grant to my country and for the benefit of Europe in general, a great and glorious victory: and may no misconduct, in any one, tarnish it: and may humanity after victory be the predominant feature in the British fleet.

For myself individually, I commit my life to Him who made me and may His blessing light upon my endeavours for serving my country faithfully.

To Him I resign myself and the just cause which is entrusted to me to defend.

    Amen. Amen. Amen."

Anyone likely to vist St Pauls over the weekend to confirm?

where do TAO and BE come into things?

or is their very mention a red herring in itself?

In the grid that Tyranical posted, in the 6th column there are the words Tao & Be. In today's paper they say these are red herrings. aside from the words "What does it say on Nelsons tomb" I can't see any other vertically written words on the grid.

Does anyone have the email address to send the final answer to? The OP says the address will be in today's newspaper.
