Living in My own Buy to Let Property? Insurance Cover??

Hello,
I've just converted my house to a buy to let mortgage along with my house insurance. Initially the idea was to move into another property (A relatives house) whilst I sorted the mortgage on a new house. The mortgage for my new house is under way but will take a minimum of 7-8 weeks. In the meantime the property I was going to move into (in the interim period) has fallen through. So I'm currently living in my own buy to let, with an insurance policy which apparently doesn't cover me. Anyone got any idea if there is an insurance policy which may be able to cover me over the next couple of months whilst I remain in this house?? And any other legal implication of this predicament?
thanks

I find it very hard to believe that LL insurance doesn't provide building cover when the LL is in occupation.
There must be thousands of occasions when this happens and mortgage companies want there to be continual cover.
a live in LL has to be a smaller risk that a T (or leaving the property empty) so what's the insurance company's loss here?0 -
Have you actually asked the insurer if this is a problem?
I agree with tim and suspect they will not have an issue with it.I am a mortgage broker.
