They are currently running adds saying that they will beat your current quote.
So I thought i would give them a try.
I am changing my car this weekend so I had to contact my current insurer and the renewal from the end of this month will be £310.78
I then rang Churchill and went through like for like quote, incuding £100 excess as there std quote on excess is £250 and they came back with a premium of £445!
I said they were alot more expensive, but they did not offer to beat the price. When I said that they are advertising this, they then came back with a quoute of £309.75.
See what you get if you try - they did beat it by £1.03 - but it shows how much profit they are making on us.
By the way my insurer and has been for e few years because no one can match them is esure.com
