empark stansted. waiting on double yellow lines

Hi. I got exactly the same "fine" in the post last week. it is also from febuary. The little smart car with a camera on top also snuck up behind me while i was waiting in the same spot to pick someone up on the double yellow lines outside stansted airport carpark.
I drove away the second it saw it but it still got a picture. I am tempted just to pay it as i really cant be bothered to deal with these scum bags. however I went on their website and put in my numberplate and it says I have no fines. I also tried calling both the number on the ticket and and the number on the website but I can only leave a voicemail my name and number and no nobody calls me back. I think they might be waiting until after 14 days so it is £75 not £40.
I would like to apeall it as i never saw any signs and didnt even enter the actual car parkand they waited over a month to issue the charge. but i was waiting on a double yellow line

I cant find the apeal template as the link is broken?

I have read some of the advice but what I dont understand is if i ignore the letters or fail in my apeal how it only affects my credit rating if it goes to court. my friends have had experience with Debt managment firms and debt collectors as they are also parisities and dont care about the law so they will be happy to buy these "uppaid invoices/made up fines" off empark and then trash people credit rating if they dont pay.

how do debt management firms destroy peoples credit rating without going to court?

    The link isn't broken:

but never copy a complicated template verbatim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I already explained on the other thread you posted on that they must send you the letter with the notice to keeper within 14 days. This they have failed to do, so you write a letter telling them that the "offence" happened on dd/feb/12 and you received their demand on dd/apr/13.

The POFA states that they have a 14 day time frame in which to contact you and they have failed to do this. You now demand that they cancel the charge. Failing that, you demand that they send you a POPLA Code and form.

The links are on the other thread and coupon-mad's post immediately preceding this one.

That should provide you with the basis for your appeal to them and, if necessary, POPLA. If you do decide to go to POPLA, then you need to do that pretty quickly after you receive the POPLA code.

As far as debt companies, ccjs and credit records etc, the Debt forum is the place for that advice but be assured that none of this kicks in till you lose any case in court and then fail to pay the judgement amount.

Dedbt Companies, you write back to them and say the debt is denied and they must refer back to the ppc.
CCJ's can only be put on you IF the ppc goes to court (Very Rare,) you lose(even rarer) and then you still have time to pay before there can be a CCJ.
Credit Record only applies if you don't pay what the judge orders and you get a CCJ.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
