I keep getting messages when i login to on-line banking inviting me to download some free security software called Trusteer Rapport. Anyone come across this & should i download it. Also if i don't download it will it free the bank from any liability if my bank account was ever comprimised.

    do a forum search for rapport, lot's of threads on it, it has downsides, a good AV scanner is enough imo

    won't change the liability.

    As "closed" said the subject of Trusteer Rapport has been discussed endlessly on these boards (mostly the techie, savings, current accounts sub-forums) over and over again - to the extent that most of the "regulars" on here have lost the willingness or interest to start up or enter into the discussion anymore.........particularly as its just going to be the same arguments re-hashed all over again.

    Try reading through this thread for instance on the savings sub-board
    around 320 replies and the thread having been read 82000 times
