Hit by non-Sterling transaction fees

Hi there

I've been doing some advertising on Facebook and on there I get charged in USD, even though everything about my FB account is UK-related.

With every FB payment I make (and they are daily), I am being charged a "Non-Sterling transaction fee" by, I assume, my credit card company (it's a Halifax Mastercard).

They are adding up... is there a way to avoid these fees?

I have tried contacting FB to get my account changed so I pay in £ and not USD, but they claim that can't be done, so I assume my best way of tackling this is to use another credit card company.

Thank you

Paul
