Hello everyone!! Unixgirl thats great news, every little helps.

Well intenet still up the swanee, Broadband provider were adamant there was no problem with the line so had to go out and replace filter, cable and router at great expense. phone line then also went down and said provider have now admitted there is a problem at the exchange. Thinking of sending them the bill for the replacement kit we bought!

    however on a plus side.....
DP has been foiled and his houdini ways are no more!!:j
Tenerife cancelled, very very bad idea right now,:T (as lovely as a holiday would be i'm relieved!)

OH still being a DFWs best buddie

Done looooooooads of business this week, kinda snowed under :j is a great feeling.

And finally.. IT'S PAYDAY TOMORROW!!!! a whole new month of budgeting and debt reayments ahead!:j :j :j (am i sad or what!)

Hope that everyone else is doing well and having a fun time of it. Atleast this weather seems to be slightly less wet. And for any fellow dfw'ers who have had a tough time of it in the weather with flooding etc, my heart goes out to you.

Blimey girl! What a positive post!!

Def bill the internet provider for the cost of the extra equipment. Be firm, after all, it is only because they said it was not their problem that you went out to buy stuff.

Glad to hear about Tenerife - will be much better when you can really afford it, otherwise it clouds things a bit.

Also, fab news that OH is still on board. I am impressed!!

Finally - pay day - woo hoo!!!! (secretly wish I had a payday!!).

I have the kids with me on Friday, with it being school hols, but if you fancy popping over for coffee let me know. Will be free in the morning but have clients in the afternoon.

Yup, Positive is my new middle name!! well kinda anyhow!!

The internet providers have been shocking actually. If it wasn't for fact they are paid for by work i'd be naming and shaming!! have spoken to a chap this am about the bill and he has said to send it and they will see what they can do. to right!! Cuppa friday morning sounds fantastic. let me know if you want me to bring anything from the fruit and veg stall with me!

And to cheer you up, only disadvantage with payday is it only happens once a month! I see loads of clients that have a weekly payday. that would be bliss!!! :-)

It would appear the site has an anti grumble mechanism to it. whole long page of moan moan moan just gone whooooosh into cyberspace. but hey to summarise 1) i'm back on line (i fixed it)
    2) feeling peeved as not paid anywhere near as much as i thought so another tough month ahead.
thats it in a nutshell really! Right attempt mark 2 at posting!

I am a great believer in fate, and that when you are feeling down or just generally poo, something will come along, however small to pick you up and put you back on your feet again.
Today i came across, purely by chance a beautiful piece of choir music sung by a fantastic new zealand vocalist.
The words are beautiful, haunting and very very true. It reminds me that if we just keep on keeping on, one foot after the other, hope will carry us on and get us through. I've had a shocking couple of days but this has really lifted my spirits today and i thought i'd record the words on here.

    whispering hope

Soft as the voice of an angel,
    Breathing a lesson unheard,
    Hope with a gentle persuasion,
    whispers her comforting word

wait til the darkness is over
wait til the tempest is done
    hope for the sunshine tomorrow
    after the shower is gone

    whispering hope, whispering hope
    welcome, welcome thy voice
making my heart, in it's sorrow, rejoice

    whispering hope, whispering hope
    welcome, welcome thy voice
making my heart, making my heart, in it's sorrow rejoice.
