Hi guys, sorry to have gone quiet on you all the last few days, truth is i'm taking a bit of time out from life and just plodding on with things, i'm still popping on every now and then but just getting my head round a few bits right now and feeling a bit "quiet" shall we say. I will be back, very soonand hopefully a much lighter, happier Pania.
Signing off for now guys. Big hugs and thanks for all the support along the way so far. See you soon. xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
I hope you're OK, Pania. You take time out if that's what you need to do, but not too much, as we will miss you too much.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi all,
Time for a quick update here I think. apologies for naffing off and leaving you for a while, I have been really really rather poorly and I think when your health is low things can very easily climb on top of you and push your head under water. Long and short of it is that i just haven't had the strength or motivation to do anything much aside from work adn collapse in bed. Even now I am in bed and have been since 2030 last night:rolleyes: .
However I am returning to the living world slowly and surely and feeling better and happier each day which is nice.
I know that some of you will have caught me on face book when the forums were down the otehr day but I have had a really very exciting e-mail that I shall copy below.
Thanks for your reply to train with Mic Martin, we have had a few replies to our original message we would like to invite you down to the school for an assessment, this would be to have a chat about the course, and to see what level of training you have already achieved.
Provisional dates
18th, and 25th Nov at 10am
There are two classes on Sundays:
Mic takes the first one.
We would like you to do an informal talk to one of the groups about a dog related subject approx 5 minutes, please let us know what it is.
This would be during the tea break.
the classes usually finish around 1.30pm at which time you will be assessed on your own handling skills.
You may be asked to take the one of the groups for a short instruction on anything you wish, other than agility.
for example take them for a control exercise or a trick or whatever. Please let us know what it is.
At the end of the day, if you like what we do and we feel you could benefit from our training course, we invite you leave a deposit of £85 in cash please
towards your course.
Then after consulting with all of you will can decide how to proceed so that we can work around your time off holidays etc....
Please let us know which date you can make and we will forward the directions
Thanks again

WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!:j :j :j :j
I am SOOOO excited about this you would not believe it. even if i don't progress onto the advanced course to have one days training with the man himself would be a dream.
SO on the 25th I'm toddling off to hertfordshire to meet mic martin and see if I may stand a chance of becoming one of his dog school trainers.
then, after a while I can tell boss to poke it and have a hobby as a career.

SO what else is news? Have managed to overpay a couple of debts by a small amount, lowering my total by an extra £30, have increased my monthly payments to my creditors each month so am paying an extra £50 per month and have asked provi man for a settlement figure to see if i can get that gone. I have looooooads of stuff to ebay, just need to get my butt in gear and get on with it and that will go some way towards my training course total.
OH has got his company car now which is a god send as I don't have to run him everywhere but I feel he's got off a tad lightly with the !!!! up (Pardon me) he made by buying a car without the finance. Think a few more months of pain would've done him good. He is doing well though and has set himself a few ground rules that he wants me to enforce!!:D
and we have a ferret........
i hope that everyone else is doing well. i'm off for a quick bath then to face the day. hugs to all. xxx

Great news, Pania! But wow, you must have been really knocked for six by whatever lurgy you had, bad one. Very glad to hear you're on the mend.
And.... a ferret? I've seen them on TV, they do actually look very cute. Whats his/her name? And whats been eaten since you got him/her?:rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Karma!! His name is Dude. We rehomed him from an american woman in the forces at Lakenheath, hence the rather americanised name!! he is really a little cute but yes he does chew! particularly rubbery or plastic things that he can get his teeth into.
OH has wanted one for a while and I reluctantly agreed. He is looking after it really quite well which is heartening. He has to be cleaned out every other day and given a bath as he gets rather aromatic shall we say! So far i think we have only lost a tube of conditioner to him, must've tasted foul!!!! had a quick read of your diary earlier. glad that you are doing well! xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Dude....... sweet. Hope the diary doesn't read too strangely, its a bit...... varied, shall we say!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Oooh lucky you, a ferret! My kids are always asking to keep ferrets but I've said NO, mainly on smell grounds. Do they make good pets? Do they need attention 24/7? And yes, is there any way you can keep the smell under control?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
