Lloyds TSB Platinum Card 0% Offer

I have checked out the website and it seems that Lloyds is offering a Platinum Card with 0% for 6 months and BTs for free as long as you do the BT in the 1st six weeks of opening the card.

Interesting that they offer this is the face of everyone implementing BT fees.

Correct me if I'm wrong (check it out with the link below and then go to Credit Cards).

Everyone? Many, but fortunately not everyone yet ...
  • Most of the card issuers imposing BT fees are where the BT offer is of 9 months or longer in duration.

However, Marks & Spencer are currently offering a 9 month 0% deal on both purchases and BT's, also fee-free.

Alternatives include Ulster Bank's gold card which offers 9 months 0% on BT's and is again fee-free.

Capital One also offer a 9 month 0% BT deal which is fee-free, but this is only available either by leaflets (usually in magazines) or invitation by post.

Any offers greater than 9 months (e.g. Halifax's One card - 12 months 0% on BT's, and Capital One's Platinum card - 18 months 0% on BT's) all charge a fee, but this tends to be capped at between £35 and £50, the only exception being MBNA whose own-brand cards charge 2% uncapped.
