Tidying defaults on my credit report

Just as a heads up to anyone who is having problems with creditors and amendments, I took @fermi's advice and submitted 4 online complaints for those creditors still causing difficulty including Cr&bot.
The FOS are quoting 8 weeks to respond to any complaints submitted and written to by them.
I think that's still a reasonable period of time and may add some clout towards getting the amendments processed.0 -
I'm keeping this thread going so anyone going through similar problems may gleam anything useful to them.
Equifax has just responded to a dispute saying that Cabot Financial have asked me to contact them directly! So I've been sending them letters since February which they haven't responded to and now Equifax are telling me they are going to close the dispute as Cabot have asked me to contact them directly.
Now I believe this is "naughty" of them under the terms of my bankruptcy but will need someone on here to confirm it to be correct or not. I can definitely confirm that they were on my bankruptcy petition so surely they cannot dispute they weren't told about the petition. I think they want me to contact as a rouse to gleam more info as my partner has an account with Cabot.
I now think from Feb to May with no success warrants a copy of all docs to the ICO (having already sent to FOS).
Unfortunately Equifax are not being very helpful and seem keen to close disputes without warrant or proper investigation.0
