Tesco expensive fuel!

OK, I should have checked but I went to Tesco garage and filled up. Then I noticed it was 140.9 the two garages down the road charge 137.9 AAARRRGGGHHH

Big signs outside are there for this reason.

Then, the pump displays the price.

Let's hope the opticians explain the prices in spoken word rather than text next time your prescription is due

Tesco used to pricematch local garages. I complained once to a manager that they didn't match the Shell garage down the road which was cheaper and only 1 mile away. She said "We only measure the distance as the crow flies."

"Erm, that's even shorter than a mile" I replied, giving a a really thick grimace.

Least you get some clubcard points that will make up 2p/litre of the difference (if you 4xvoucher them)

I think you should go back to Tesco to get a refund, just be sure to take a hose pipe with you.

You can sign up for email alerts (they don't bombard you with junk - just updates on pricing for your postcode).

You can do a certain amount of free searches for petrol / diesel within a certain distance.

Might be worth a look for you.
