Hi All,
I've been meaning to post this on here for a while, i'm a seller and buyer on ebay, not a big one, get rid of my old clothes etc.
I've just made a post ranting about nitpickers and I dont want to come across one myself so am after some advice!!
I bought some latin dance shoes online for £3 + £3 delivery. Bargain! Or so i thought.
The first lesson part of the heel fell off! The second lesson the whole underside of the shoe came away and now "flaps" open if that makes any sense.
I bought them 3 weeks ago and they have been used for 2 one hour lessons, I'm a beginner so theres no way I have been dancing vigorously!
I have since bought some new shoes from a shop which cost me £20, should have done this in the first place, lesson learnt.
Would you open a case? I've emailed the seller but no response as of yet, its been 2 days and they are a business seller.
I dont want a full refund as I have used them and I dont really want the hassle of return postage. In the interest of fairness I also understand that theyve had to pay out to post the shoe.
I've proposed to send photos of the damage so they can see i'm not having them on (they look awful) and for them to refund the cost of the shoe £3 and I dispose of them.
Is this fair?

Chalk it up to experience and throw them in the bin. Forget opening a case, no one wins there.0
