atos medical earlier today, advice please

hi, just signed up to this website and would be gratefull for any advice.had medical this morning lasted 30 mins, the nurse was really nice and basically told me that i am not fit for work because i cant sit or stand for 30 mins without pain in my lumber spine region, but she said that the decision maker will put me in the work group because i can use my upper limbs so i could operate a wheel chair, she agreed that it was a stupid rule as sitting in a wheelchair is the same as sitting in a chair but this is the new rules, she said as soon as i get my letter i should appeal and said she thought i would win the appeal. she was the one who told me to come on this website as it is really good and mentioned roger black and another who are really good with advice, she said ido not need to go in person to an appeal and should win just by appealing by post, this is the first time in 10yrs that my medical has prob gone against me and would be grateful for any help as i am completley in the dark in what to do.

Just because someone at atos decides you can use an imaginary wheelchair doesn't necessarily mean that one would be appropriate for your circumstances. What if you lived in a flat is there space for a wheelchair, can you afford to buy one etc etc.
