The board is not regulated or authorised to give investment advice so its just discussion only.
Give us more info to go on so we can discuss it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
I would look at another thread in this board- what to do with redundancy money- see if any of that applies to you. It might give you some ideas of where to start.Making my money go further with MSE :j

Thanks I was just looking for the best way forward for interest on the money
I saw A&L are doing 12% but a max of £250 per month ,(taking out 2 acccounts covers £6,000) didn't know if this was better than the highest interest one on this sites blog
I would appreciate any feedback0 -
if you dont want to invest and are just looking at savings accounts then take a look at the savings section of the website.

I'd (obviously?) think about clearing down any debts/mortgage I had first, or at least put a substantial chunk of the money toward that...0

After reading the savings and investment items may I ask Does this make sense to you ?,
put £3,000 in an egg isa one for for me and one for hubby
put the rest in ICINI savings account
and drip feed the savings above into the lloyds regular savings account over a year
Thanks for your time in reading and replying to me I just need reassurance I'm heading the right way0
