I'm not bothering to get the Prima mag even though it has coupons in it as they are too low in value for me. Where I live, Tesco are super strict and put a strict limit on the amount being used, so its more worthwhile for me to just use coupons that have a value of £1+. I have had to think a lot smarter as a result. I'm not complaining though, as my weekly average for coupon use is £70.00 a week! ;)

Very impressive to get some many high value coupons - slightly easier at the moment with the H and B and SB coupons about. I count anything over 50p as high value.
I use the samll value coupons when I am doing small £2 or £3 shops, hand over some 20ps,30ps and see how many get accepted.

  • Does anyone know if there are any coupons in Bella? - it is on offer for 50p on Tesco.com

I don't use the H and B and SB coupons as they have caused far too much trouble for me in the past. I find it far easier just to use MOCS. Tesco always reacted aggressively whenever I used their H and B and SB so I gave up using them a few months ago. I have been using mainly magazine MOCS and of course it was magazine week last week. Also, Asda had some fab coupons that were mother & baby coupons last month as posted elsewhere on this site.

I do lots of small £10 shops and go through the checkouts at least about three or four times to get rid of as many coupons as I can as I am only allowed a max of 5 coupons per shopping. I use a different SA each time I go through and calculate it so I get 50% off every time I go through. It also helps if you take your OH with you and they follow the same routine. Once I have been to Tesco, I then go onto Asda and do the same thing all over again to finish off my shopping. Today we did it and I got £36 off £50 worth of shopping.

There's no stress involved now when I get to the checkout as I always make sure I only use MOCS that are within date and are reclaimable by Tesco/Asda. I still have to stick to the male SA's though, as the female SA's are always soooo hostile to coupons. I often wonder why the male SA's are coupon happy and the female ones aren't:confused: .

  • Just bought this today in Tesco - haven't read it yet & will edit post later with any offers found but wanted to post promptly as there was an 'Exclusive to Tesco' attachment - a FAB boxed Jemma Kidd Eye Silk Crayon in Shade 02 Mercury. It's pictured on the plastic bag cover so I think it is one shade only offered but it's a lovely iridescent silver and RRP is £10! Although it states 'Free With Marie Claire' on the box it would be a lovely Xmas stocking-filler removed from box :-)

    Edit:
Online Comp on p.36 - log on to marieclaire.co.uk to win Astley Clarke jewellry worth £1000.
£45 worth of Jemma Kidd make-up comp also on website + 20% off non-professional masterclasses & gift vouchers at the Jemma Kidd Make UpSchool in London - see www.jemmakidd.com for more info.
p.235 save 20% AT ZPM London (accessories) - log onto the Marie Claire website to get your code.
Save up to 35% on mag subscription + free gift from Caudalie (hand/nail cream & (body?) scrub) worth £36 www.giftmags.co.uk/caudalie 0845 6767778.
*Free* with next month's mag - a white organic cotton shopper with hot pink 'Plastic Ain't My Bag' logo on sale 1st Nov.
  • This mag was free to take in my local Debenhams foyer today (South East) not sure if this will be everywhere but cover states special offer price for this week so it could be a National promotion :-)
Had a quick flick thru but can't see any MOC
