Also which day of the week does Tesco usually sell this weeks Star magazine. All last weeks are sold out so waiting on the new issue. Thanks

You cant buy it, it comes with the standard sky mag that comes every month to sky subscribers. If you are a sky subscriber you can order the kids mag, by looking on their website or ringing them up.

i've found another tesco a bit further away that sticks to HO policy and takes one of each different coupon hurray!

I think many stores have different policies to be honest. Mine used to take any many many years ago. Then they stopped taking them altogether about 3 years ago, for about a year. Then they adhered back to policy. Now this new rule!

That's disgraceful. I don't think that happened in my store. I asked the customer service manager why they'd changed and he just said the store had decided on a 5 coupons per shop rule as manufacturers were getting suspicious

People who spoil it for others by using out of date coupons are too daft to realise they're spoiling it for themselves also.

That said, if they trained their cashiers to thoroughly check dates, that wouldn't happen and why should genuine couponers lose out?
