Ipc Media publish Marie Claire their number is 08456767778 .I wonder whether they are setting up sending magazines late as I just subscribed and got letter saying 1st copy is September . A bit worried as really want gift and they do have a habit of running out and substituting. My letter says gift will be sent once 1st payment collected.

Thats terrible, Id be really angry setting up a subscription and having to wait 6 months before getting it. Id give them a ring, cos that really doent sound right at all.

I agree with Manda, there is no way I'd accept that and would want to know what was going on!

It may be as simple as a clerical error, so worth a call to check.

Don't despair. You may find this will be shortlived. Intermittently, I have problems at my nearest Tesco. They usually take 10 coupons and don't usually accept paper or magazine ones unless you buy them but sometimes they will only take fewer than this. Obviously someone spoiling it doesn't help but I do wonder if at times they get so many in that the office staff moan about the "extra" work!

It's the same in my local Waitrose, which is my nearest shop. Usually take up to half the shopping cost, but there is one supervisor who will only take one third. I am still trying to work out which days she is on duty to avoid her! At Christmas, they had cut it down to only 3 coupons but luckily I had some large value ones to use.
