No MOCs0 -
I have a Sainsbury within 5 mins walking distance of where I live. I never use it because I am sure I was told once that the MOC's they print in their magazine can only be used against the actual product in their shop. Is this correct because I see a lot of people getting excited when their magazine come out with coupons in, so I'm wondering whether I can still buy what I want without it being specific to the coupons and just hand over their magazine coupons anyway?
Thx for your replies.0 -

Hello Loveandlight and a late Happy New Year ....
I will try to answer your question ... In the Sainsbury's mag there is normally a whole page of Sainsbug's coupons for use against the product only ... unless you are very canny like Coupon-mad and get a lot of shopping you can normally only get the coupons accepted against the product bought ... However Sainsbugs till's are not set to automatically work out if you have bought the product ... so there are grey area's I have found ... for instance if the coupon is for Corn Cobs and the pack you want isn't on the shelf and you buy another ... you can often get it taken off the ones you buy as the cashier just checks if you have bought corn cobs and seldom goes into the detail ... Also these Sainsbugs only coupons are often quite generous so often it is worthwhile to buy the odd thing if you are close ... like you and me also ... and get only the things that are on coupons ...
Also in the mag .... not this month sadly ... there are often NSS couponogs on other pages that can be used in Tesco or other stores ... and as the mag is only £1.20 it is often worthwhile to buy it for these alone ... last month for example there was £3.50 of NSS coupons if I remember rightly ... so £2.30 up before you use the Sainsbug's own ones ...
I generally buy a bit of stuff from Sainsbugs and use what coupons they offer as and when ... I do in fact prefer a lot of stuff from Sainsbug's and they are a considerably more ethical company than Tescolditz!
Hope this Helps a bit ....

Hi Coupon' ...
I will be passing so will pick up one of these today ... I have just checked my Sainsbug's calendar coupons for 2008 ... the February one is for 50p off PER KG on So Organic Chicken ... which starts 1st Feb ... Hopefully if the above coupon runs into Feb we can double it up for a nearly half price chicken ... Hoorah! .... I'm with Hugh Fearnley-Serving-Suggestion ... Keep the Chickens happy!LittleBill ...
