Laxapet help...

I have some laxapet for one of my cats, which I opened about 6 weeks ago, would this still be ok to use?

Which now brings me onto the problem, one of my cats used to suffer toilet problems and wouldnt go all that often (every 2 days) when we took him to the vet to check him over, the vet said he was fine but basically the food we were giving him wasnt filling him up enough, so the vet gave us laxapet and advised us on different food, we gave him laxapet that night and he went (he hadnt been for about 4 nights at this point) we changed his food and hes been much better the last 6 weeks, going pretty much everyday. My other half went away on saturday for a week and he hasnt beem since, he's all her so maybe he misses her? I know it sounds stupid but could that be the cause?

Last question, there was a stool in the litter this morning but its difficult to tell if its just my other cat or if its 2, however I did notice when I shook the litter he went over to bury, would a cat usually bury if its not theirs?

When I've been away for a couple of days one of our cats starts to sulk. Doesn't eat as much as he usually does and hibernates under the bed only occasionaly coming out to use the litter tray or if OH manages to tempt him with treats.

I have found our cats buring each others poop a few times. Salem doesn't always bury his wee so Gizmo goes in after him to cover it over.
  • Thanks for the replies, its good to know it can still be used for a while once its been opened.

I don't think I need it, as in the last 24 hours there have been 4 stools in the litter, there was another 1 one when I got home from work, the other cat then went again yesterday evening and then another one when I got up this morning, so I think its safe to say at least 1 of those is his :rotfl:
