Hi we had mice in the kitchen & a rat in the wall space between our house & next door.
we got 4 of these & havent seen or heard any since.
We still have traps down but they remain empty, & untouched poison.
We put one in our lounge just in case & accidently brought in our guinnea pig who went crazy until we realised the unit was plugged in, once unplugged he was fine.
In my opinion they do work.
We got ours from QVC for around £15 for 2.

we get rats in the wall space (terraced house) in the kitchen and upstairs, they were starting to climb out ito the attic, council came out and put blocks of poison down, the rats loved that ate them all and were still running wild. I put down more poison and put a sonic repellant in the roof space, since then they only occasionally run through the wall space and dont stay long. though the neigbours are to blame as they wont let the concil look in their property to see were they are getting in.
i would say they work but best solution is to find where they get in and seal it then use poison and the sonic repellant

Had a mouse speeding in front of my legs yesterday in the spare room (at least think it was a mouse!).

    Now I found this:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mouse-Rat-Ultrasonic-Repeller-Repellant/dp/B000LJ56OA

Which supossidly works according to a review - but that could be the manufacturer putting that review there. Anyone used/know if these work. Heard some people say yes some say no - guess it depends on the make etc?
    Thanks all...

    You could try http://www.primrose-london.co.uk/mice-repeller-whole-house-p-36.html

not the cheapest, but they do offer a 45 day money back guarantee if it doesn't work.

Live in recently new flats on the top floor(4th) and thought never get a problem. There was an old building across from me that got demolished and since then it appears they have found there way into our block. Have caught one so far the good old hunting way it ran into a rubber glove i laid down and got stuck but i can still hear them scuttling about in the wall. I have sealed the hole where thepipes go into the plasterboard and that seems to have done the trick but my mouse traps havent even been touched but to get back to the point i seen these
