Off the top of the head (approx is fine) does anyone know how much it costs to post an item worth £220 signed for to the US. It is clothing and not too heavy. I just need a guide and I can't find that on RM.
Thanks
Thanks

It can vary a huge amount depending on the weight. Also with No Royal Mail service guaranteeing a signature you will probably need a courier.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks I have already said RM now...so if I say £20 do you think that is close?
I think I am going to look at Hermes for other sales though. Is there a thread on how they work?0 -

I'm not 100% sure, but I think MyHermes is UK only.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As said couriers are probably a better option. Not sure of prices but you can get some good deals through resellers and someone will be on here to let you know soon.
I'd recommend DHL, UPS or FedEx. You can get FedEx via Parcel2Go for £21. There tracking is much better than Royal Mail, which is poor at best..0 -
You need accurate weight and dimensions to get the correct price with a courier. The max weight for airmail with Royal Mail is 2kg.0
