Which Card Next Stooze Advice Please

A common question I know and sorry it is similar to another recent question I posted but I am stuck, any advice would be welcomed.

I have a FD card, a Vigin card and an Egg card. My Egg is about to end and I want to cover the £14000 on it or get close at least. Bearing in mind what organisations each card belong to, ie MBNA etc, what is the next card that is most likely to get me near that figure?

What limits have you managed and with who would be helful. Also I want to be careful with charges for BT's. Some charge up to a max of £40, well that is not so painfull for around the £10000 plus mark, but unlimited is a bit of a killer.

There are cards I could pick but I am worried about picking a card that agrees to my application and then gives me a poxy less than £5000 limit. I want to try and grab a generous card.

Any ideas?

Cards offered by Lloyds bank tend to give big limits - that's Accucard and More than (I think). I believe they generally offer 6 months and no fee during the 6 months. Accucard gave me £8K initially, later upped to about £10K.

If you want to cover your £14K, you could list it as a requested BT on your aplication form. This could ensure they give you a big limit to cover it (worked for me wiuth Virgin anyway).

But what is M&S maximum credit limit and do they normally give high or low credit limits out mostly?
