Tesco for euros on credit card.

I live within walking distance of a Tesco store that has a bureau de change and I need 100 euros which will cost me £87.38 If I order and pay online and collect them instore.

I noticed this on their order page.

Tesco Credit Cards

If you pay with your Tesco Credit Card, there's no cash advance fee (excluding Tesco Business Credit Card) or card handling fees. Buying foreign currency with a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card from Tesco Travel Money will count towards a customer's cash limit but will be treated as a purchase transaction and will still be charged interest at the purchase interest rate.

Does that mean I will be charged interest whether or not I pay the balance off in full?

I always pay the balance off in full.

If no interest that will be some more Tesco points for me.
Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:

Don't know I was hoping someone on here would know.

I've bought my euros now anyway.

I wonder what 100 euros will cost me with my Nationwide FlexDirect card?

I will find out next week when I am in Ireland.

Think this wont be cheap with nationwide as it was a few years ago. I've now used the clarity card a few times and it is the canines appendages in terms of overseas money, took out 140 euros a week ago, logged onto Internet banking four days later on return and paid off from my current account. Just received statement and been charged £0.20 for the transaction at MasterCard rates of exchange, can't fault it.

No, sometime ago yes, currently no - I think they've tried to give a 'better rate'.
