Have i done right thing?

Hi, I've just put in to swop supplier from N power to EDF. My anniversary date for my £100 is in July. Do you think I should have waited or not? I would miss out on the fixed Blue deal. I will or hopefully will get £50 cash back.

I think you should have waited, is there anywhere saying EDF is going to pull the deal soon?

Why? Not enough info is known. The difference is about £37 (10 x £8.66 lost - £50 gained). So is the new tariff worth more than £37? Why would they be switching in the first place if it weren't? I assume it is the Feb 2015 fix - so that is two whole winters at this price. Very unlikely to be a less than £37 win.

Of course it is possible something as good may be available from someone in July.
