electric central heating

i have seen all the ads for free boiler replacements but are they just for gas or can you get electric systems aswell,i currently have storage heaters and was thinking of a combination electric boiler with radiators,i do meet the criteria if you can
If electric not available are there any grants for putting in such a system, there is no gas near me so that's out of the question.

You can get electric central heating but.....electric heating is going to be very expensive to run roughly 3x the amount for a gas system. The one system I have seen which does cost less to run is a thermal store which heats during the E7 times and the stored water is then pumped around the central heating. I have seen a few set ups with this it's still not cheap as the water does need to be heated at some point during the day on the colder winter days but it is far cheaper than a standard electric boilers which use standard electric. Maybe it's something for you to research.

oops sorry, I am not aware of any offers for replacing storage heaters. Even if warm front were still around they would not replace them.
(although I have seen a WF grant to replace electric central heating with storage heaters)0 -
Why would you want to install a system that will cost up to 300% more to run?
And why would anyone give you a grant to do that?No free lunch, and no free laptop0
