Hi,
I've listed an item as an auction and it has received a few bids. I've received an email from the highest bidder advising that he will pay me £xxx and has set this as his highest bid. But due to the automatic bidding, I see a much lower amount as the highest bid.
He has said he will pay me the agreed price via Paypal before I end the auction. But this seems a bit odd to me as the agreed price via Ebay will be much lower than the price paid by Paypal. Could he then claim back the price difference??

He could easily just pay the invoiced amount which will be current price and postage stated if he had a mind to.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you're happy with his offer, ask for payment via bank transfer or cash on collection, end the auction once you've had the wonga.
No fees or worries then."Love you Dave Brooker! x"
