Buyer wont close case..

Ok so we know about the auto case thing- well I had one opened on me a few days ago for INR I asked them to check sorting office. I then had a reply to say they had found it at the sorting office but they haven't closed the case!
I've politely asked them to close it if they are happy but they haven't and now I'm getting a bit paranoid that if they choose to be a pain they might well let the case run to a claim. I don't want a black mark on my account for not either a)refunding or b) uploading tracking anyone else had this?

If they told you they had it by message you should be ok, you coukd ring ebay and ask them to review your messages.

One would hope that eBay would take a common sense approach here. If not these cases are going to be a nightmare.

Let the case timeout. Ebay do not read messages between buyers and sellers, and will not close a Case on behalf of a buyer or seller.

So just hope the buyer does not Escalate it, as even though they have said they have got the item, if it's escalated withut proof of delivery the buyer will be refunded.

Well today the buyer closed it thank goodness. Going to be a nightmare if this keeps happening. I've had 2 cases in a week, I haven't had that many all year.
