  • Troll or not it is a Newbee so why the WW3 approach. Be nicer to people and you might smile as well. How about
''Hi there (insert name) nice to see a newbee. I think you're in the wrong forum here and will get better answers on the motoring section''

Easy eh! Perhaps all those people replying would like to think back to when they have driven over the limit (whatever limit it is)

If genuine then OP should have little to worry about if they are telling the truth. A lone copper could never do this, they would need objective eviden ce as well to be enforceable.

Reminds me of a colleague at work, another guy got anew company car and they went out on the local dual carriageway, no traffic, started racing, definitely not clever. They ended up doing over a ton, cper saw them and followed them, pulled off into company car park followed by the copper, who admitted he couldn't do them as he didn't have monitoring kit in his car. Impressively the guy who finished first turned round to the copper before he'd said a word and said ' looks like you finished last mate'. Not clever but quite funny.

The problem is that the OP admitted the offence. If they had played their cards close to their chest and asked for proof they might not hsve been able to do anything. Something tells me that the OP is a habitual speeder anyway and also that a judge may believe that it would be best for her unborn child that the license is revoked for a while.

OP has admitted speeding but not at what speed. This is the crux of the question, ie they acknowledge a penalty in terms of fine andoints but don't want the potential automatic ban at thirty over the speed limit.

As others have pointed out it seems like a random post anyway, and may or may not be true.

Did you miss this?:D From OP!
" I was travelling to work in a 40mph , I broke the speed and was doing 50mph"

Autocorrect on IPad problem, typed that which corrected to what. The problem was being done at 70, they weren't bothered about being done at 50.
