Is MyHermes a valid tracked method of postage for Paypal Seller Protection?

As the title suggests, is using MyHermes, signature on request option, a valid method of postage for Seller Protection on ebay?
I have recently had a bad experience sending someone non-tracked
whereby the person claimed their money back through Paypal and I didn't have a leg to stand on because I couldn't provide tracking details...
If I have to send everything through Royal Mail Signed For, I will, but just wondered if you are allowed to use services such as MyHermes?

Any service that tracks to delivery is fine, it does not require paying extra for a signature unless over £150.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Soolin is the resident expert on the eBay board and I wouldn't argue with her point of view
but I would like to say that My Hermes is not very reliable in my experience.
I am having trouble at the moment with some stuff I ordered from BHS. We were away for Easter and it appears My Hermes delivered but because the gates were locked they just lobbed the parcel into the drive in full view of passers-by
Heaven knows what has happened to it but it wasn't there when we got back that evening and I'm still trying to get a refund!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Only up to £150, and you do not require the signature option for it to be valid. For over £150 the signature must be viewable online, which myHermes don't satisfy.0
