changing phone number & internet

hello, Am changing my phone number 31st may. Do i need to contact my internet provider to tell them this or will it simply just carry on? My phone will be with BT & internet orange.

If it's ADSL you will lose your connection and may have to pay a new connection charge.
Best to speak to them very shortly before it happens, just in case I am right.0 -
