Cheap Hotel in York

Wonder if anyone can help me. Thinking of going to York for the day and 1 night in half term (W/c 28/05/2007).Rather go between the Tuesday to Thursday sometime. Just want a cheap hotel for 2 adults and 2 children. 1 of the children requiring a cot.Anyone got any ideas????

If you want really cheap then there's a Travelodge, Express Holiday Inn, and a Premier Travel Lodge at York.
For a little bit more, there's a Novotel.
I'm currently looking for somewhere for a night in the summer holidays.
The downside to York is parking.Many hotels don't have car parks and the local parks are very expensive.
The Express has free parking but is a mile or so out of the city.Also gives free continental breakfast too, and is next door to a very nice pub with good food.I'm leaning towards that at the moment as it's close to the Park and Ride system too.0
