I saw these a while back and was bemused! Also a few weeks ago, there was a auction for a pair of 'used socks' and the bid was huge! The picture showed a girl wearing the socks..

70's & 80's argos catalogs often do £30/£40 on ebay (used to sell for a lot more)..
I think it was Soolin on here a few years ago who suggested it was interior designers/film production companies that were buying them.

But not catalogs from the noughties, seller is being rather optimistic (to say the least).

Well I suppose if you're one of those market research specialists, you might actually find it useful to have access to one for research purposes / price comparisons etc.

Must admit, I think it's utterly bonkers but there you go!
