Any other established sellers suddenly being put on 21 day paypal payment holds?

Account I'm using - around £60,000 sales in last 2 years never been on 21 days holds even at the start.
Never had any type of dispute or even a return, perfect 5.0 DSR's, never gone above monthly selling limits (which I'm permanently stuck on, supposedly because 95% of my sales are international - ??? bleurgh).

Previous month has been no different to any other, sold around £3,500 all to regular customers, no off ebay transactions, all in the same "low risk" category I've always sold in.

Now every payment being held.

Had to resort this week to asking buyers to leave feedback so funds can be released, which is unprofessional and downright pathetic.

But hey even buyers leaving feedback doesn't release funds.

I seem to remember when this was introduced that funds were released when feedback was left.

Has that changed?

I don't have to go back begging to buyers again to actually mark items as received in their ebay accounts do I?

Pretty peeved about this, around £400 ebay fees due next week, plus obviously rent/food + everything else. Also had to pull all my active ebay listings because I don't have the cash spare for postage.

Has this happened to anyone else recently?
And if not a heads up to other established sellers.
If your relying on ebay income to pay your postage, ebay fees, mortgage etc on time...DON'T.

(And yes I am aware that having other sales avenues when dealing with ebay is advisable but unfortunately not practical in the area I sell in)

Not heard of it happening to others. Try the Ebay boards. Is it also possible that it's a glitch? Ebay has certainly been in glitch meltdown this last month.

Have a look at setting up a Royal Mail account which would help with your cashflow. They also have a tracked option that is cheaper than recorded and would help to release your funds.

I'd also check the community boards as this seems quite odd.

I do sometimes get warned about the possibility of a hold when I sell in certain categories on my TRS account, but have never actually had anything held.
