Hi again everyone. I think I need some drinks and refreshments tonight and then sit down.

Aau1 - I don't know how you do it! Finding those cereal bars that scan at 2p each.

Those of you in Northern Ireland, please skip the rest sorry (and goodnight)!!

Everyone else - M check has been done. And, to summarise, I'll say three words:T:T: "Every penny matters."

Such as (sorry, here's where I add another 2,000) the Savers Rice Pudding, last week 13p (12p the week before that), now up to 16p:eek::eek: (and yes, my jaw dropped when I saw that!)

Also noticing the Atora Shredded Suet, which first went down to 50p (I think), and after that ended, has been slowly creeping up in price ever since. It rose to about 60-odd pence (whilst Sada went down to 50p) and it's now gone up again - now 86p! I think about 36 pennies matter there, together with a further 5p from Avs M when M was 50p.

As regards other items this week, do I have some offers for you?? I do indeed, and some crafty multibuys might be in there (although I bet I'll find out that Sada doesn't sell any equivalents to them!:mad:)
I've decided to start removing all fresh bakery items from my lists, as whoopies are always cheaper. And why bother with any chocolates, as the boxes are 1p in T? (I might leave them there, though, for info.) I may not have been so savvy as my name suggests, and certainly Savvy isn't as savvy as some of you!! But I'll get there - 2p on cereal bars certainly beats my Avs M on SP Cereal Bars!

We're nearing the end of this ('my') thread - I'll bid you good night now, but when I return I will probably do so to a new thread and start the new M list off on there.

Before I go, someone earlier today (I'm probably giving a belated reply, after the event now) but anyway, they asked for an item that was 10p cheaper at T than S. I'll go and have a look and post a short post (now there's a thing...:rotfl:) giving such an item (if I can find one quite soon). My first thought was perhaps the Barratt Dipdab or the single Wham Rocket (the Wham was 46p in S last time I looked) - that was how I made up some of my few pence onto the BM (Sains v T). You could of course mix and match 11 of the individual sweets at 10p or so each (Must mix and match as BM only counts first 10 of any the same item) and buy 11x Sains price vs T at 11 for £1. That'd probably give 10p. I think I can however find something better than this last option.

I'm largely going tonight, so I wish you good night!:):):)

Oh Artha this is shocking. I hope you are ok. You are such a mild mannered and polite person, a proper gentleman, it makes me angry that someone has treated you like this:eek:

I'm still getting over it:eek: The guy in question is one of the asians that come in and are notorious for their unruly, grabbing anything, behaviour. Nobody speaks to the asians apart from me in an attempt to create some harmony.
Moments before he had come along, said hello, shook my hand and we were joking. I, in my usual way, had made some throwaway joky comment about it going to be a difficult night with so many people about and lots of grabbers about (big mistake). He flew off the handle for accusing him of being a grabber, said he had been insulted and said all sorts of other unmentionable things and he'd be looking out for me. Faced up to me in a very threatening manner and said he was going to punch me in the face if I came near him:eek:

Tried to calm it down but that made it worse so I moved off and a friend who was a social worker and used to these situations tried to calm him down but gave up gobsmacked that anyone could turn so quickly. Staff saw it all and then the fun started when the produce came out and the staff had to shout at the asians to keep off but eventually took it all back out as one of them(staff) had been hit in the stomach by a notorious asian lady. She is one I talk to regularly and have tried to warn her before that if she doesn't behave she will get banned. She calls me "her friend":) and often gives me fruit that she has grabbed without knowing what it is and realises she has no need of it.

I just wonder if, in my attempts at cultural integration, I have somehow overstepped the mark in the humour dept:(
