I empathise with you arthur. Its not pleasant is it? I wish people had more decorum.

Tonight, I was quite lucky. I nipped into my local Asda at around 7.00 pm. I managed to get a gammon joint reduced from £7.00 to £1.00 something. I would have been happy with just that. However, I finished the rest of my shopping, went back and found lots of more things, including fresh beef burgers and fish. The whoopsie man doesn't like people who overbear him. I tend to stick around in the background and gently swoop in, when there is a suitable gap. But as the months have gone on, its getting more and more like the battle of Waterloo!

That's exactly what happened at my local Sada, used to be brilliant, then this gang of horrible men started coming and pushing everyone out of the way and intimidating people so much they have just stopped the final reductions.
Unfortunately some of these low- lifes have now moved on to Tosco  and the poor old ladies don't stand a chance. Its really scary :(

Just popped to my local tesco no 1p or 4p items, no cider either.
My store is also doing the price promise bingo. Today was a saving of 99p and you and the staff member on the till get a prize, no prizes out so don't know what my store were giving away.

It's not a saving you need to make , you need to get a pp of that value.Hth

In the extra near me it's the old ladies you have to watch out for! That and a Chinese couple who are apparently notorious. We stood watching the tesco guy coming back from the warehouse with the reductions and we'd all earmarked what we were gonna lift for ourselves and/or eachother depending on where it was put on the shelf. The couple were standing at the top of the aisle before the whoopsie cabinet and as the reductions went past, as quick as a whippet the husband had nabbed the legs of lamb even though he already had a couple. In the past I've been shoved out of the way by a woman 30 years my senior and I'm not exactly small & delicate.

I've given up on whoopsies except buying whoopsied orchids. I now have a lovely collection of 80-90% off beauties on my window sill.

Did you get an answer? Basically you can withdraw £30.93 but will (likely) lose the £3.60 bonus when you withdraw the real money.

Thanks SDB. I thought I would play the left over £3.60 before withdrawing the rest but I can't do that without using up my withdrawable cash. When you make a bet it seems to only take 50% from the bonus and the other 50% from withdrawable funds. I don't know if that is relevant to me getting my £45 from TCB.

    :D
