So do you not drink Artha? Did you give it up deliberatly, or do you just not bother, but have one now and again when you want one?

I had to give it up:( My GP gave me a stark choice...stop drinking or die:eek: Went through a very bad time once when things were getting me down and started to self medicate to ease things but it just made it worse as I couldn't stand being sober:( I do miss having a social drink but just can't take the chance. I do feel miles better though for not drinking and may just have stopped before the point of no return:eek:

Edit By the way for anyone else reading this later I am fine and if anyone needs to talk about drink and problems just get in touch

In a strange way, thats really nice to hear. Dont know how to explain, just seems to make you normal, and glad you are here mate!

That's Ok. I am perfectly normal and there's probably lots of people out there that don't know they have a problem. I didn't until I needed a drink just to go to work:eek::eek::eek:
