Things have been a bit tough recently leading up to my FIL's funeral on Thursday. I loved the old guy to pieces as did everyone else in my family, so we have had a very emotional couple of weeks.
I know time is a great healer and things will get better in time, I just can't wait for that to happen.
I want memories of the old codger to become just fond, happy memories, not ones that tug at my heart strings and bring a tear to my eye every time I think of him.
Sorry about the outburst, I'm beginning to sound like a big girl..
Anyway, don't worry, it won't be too long before I'm back to normal, spending every waking moment thinking of different names to call you.:)
I wonder how many variations you can get on the name dotty??:p
sfsb you do have fond, happy memories, and time is a great healer, but it will take time, and don't be surprised at the little things that'll catch you by surprise and remind you of him even a few years on (from my experience, anyway). Something the Queen said, after the twin towers fell struck a chord with me after my Mum died, "Grief is the price we pay for love"."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Evening all
See I have 10 pages to catch up since late afternoon.
Front bedroom walls and ceiling 2 coats of paint plus carpet taken up as decided to replace.
Moral or ethical dilemma
Is it wrong I paid my decorator/friend mainly with a large quantity of cheese:p
And then he treated me to some whoopsie flowers from mr t as we decided to have a quick trip.
Not allowed wallpaper so he is going to make me a very large frame with some plywood and I am going to paper that and hang above the bed. Now to find the perfect wallpaper as would like a birdcage one. 2 large wallpaper samples should do it. Very mse:)
Hope you have all had a lovely day.
Logie so glad you remembered to pack nice smellies along with hand sterilizer.
Showering with hubby must have been fun, although not quite boutique hotel
Back in a bit off to catch up.

Hi - Glitchfinder General here. Was going to pop in and out before my shop but busy day! I've done a mix and match before coming back though, not of wine (unfortunately) but the first shelf I found myself in on MSM.
Those who are just beginning and getting the hang of this should not do what I've done: I've decided to mix up my shops and see which one the APG flips to. I've bought two items on mix and match, one or both of item cheaper or N/A at T or S. (As I say, don't try this one until you're really sure like me.)
One of the following will happen:
Both items will appear on the comparison and fail to pick up the Sada multibuy, then compare cheaper elsewhere.:T
Both items will appear on the comparison, but pick up the multibuy and still compare to cheaper elsewhere on one of the items and NA on the other - so I'll average out and still be okay.
Both items will appear, the multibuy may or may not be picked up, but one will compare cheaper elsewhere (at T) and the other, showing N/A for T, will glitch at 1p or 2p for T and give back even more!!:T:T
Only one of the two items will appear on the comparison, and compare (if it's the first one) to Sains. much cheaper - trigger meaning multibuy not picked up so more APG there or (if it's the second time) to T much cheaper - and trigger again meaning multibuy not recognised and more APG!:T
Or something else.
Results due about 11pm. Just been reading back (29 pages already! - we all on here talk so much) and might have got these sorts of items cheaper as whoopsies:o:(, but they never seem to have these on whoopsie much in my local A's, S's, T's etc. My luck tonight on whoopsies - none. Just found some whoops bread, reduced to 93p:eek:, down from £1.35!!:rotfl::rotfl:Even if I compared to someone else's expensive £1 bread and got 10% off, I'd still pay less than that! Not my idea of a 'reduced' price! One of my other (nameless) local stores is just as bad - they often put cereal boxes, that were on half price offer the week before, on whoopsie shelf later, knocked down by about 40p - still way more expensive than the half price that they are now (temporarily?) no longer offering!!
Anyroads, my mix/match shop coming up later. I'm getting the idea of this!!:D0 -

8 different items.
Never rang them before about anything like this, so who knows.
Thanks everyone
It's strange because I use that Sada every now and again - and I have had the same message, about not having the minimum number of items. I had bought a single pomegranate as one of my items for my DD and when I rang customer services they said they weren't sure if it had been counted, anyway they sent me a gift card for £2 which I was pleased with :j
A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together0
