I always thought it was Irish colloquial word - my relatives used it - you used to be sent for the messages to the shop :&

FC, DM has fleeced someone on ebay and was waiting for the sucker to turn up and hand over lots of cash but I think they have had second thoughts...probably sobered up after bidding on ebay after a night out

how annoying! I once sold a car on ebay and a bloke in the Lake District was the winning bidder. I eventually got a reply from him, asking if I would deliver the car :eek: I told him no....pick it up. Ebay has it advantages, but sometimes it can be a real pain
