Have edited post and think it is ok now

As long as your post is in the right place (the codes and vouchers board) then you can put a link to the post here. You just can't put the code here.
    eg:

Link to Vanilla Twist's code here.

    It's only a game

So, when I go away in a few weeks camping, there is a fire pit on the pitch, I'm trying to think of things to eat/cook while we are there so I can be organised and were not tempted to drive to Mc D's etc all the time :o
Any Ideas? Can you cook jacket spuds in fire? In tinfoil?

Also I'm thinking of buying a gas stove and been looking through accessories am feeling tempted to splash out on lots but what do I REALLY need???

    Anyhelp please? :D TIA x
Have only been camping overnight a few times with the kids first time we just ate out for everything, after that we borrowed one of those 2 burners and toaster type stove.
Brilliant much more fun we still ate out for main meal but breakfast sausage buttys etc great especially with a can of lager (thats not with breakfast by the way).
If my two had even remotely got on with each other we would probably have gone regular when they were younger.
Dont know if I could handle a week or more though, I reckon you need lots of mod cons for that

Well done on all the 4p finds :T

Off out for a taste of blossom in the garden for the first time this year:)
  • You gels are mostly on the gin in the afternoon, right? :D

Ocado £12.50 for Gordon's 70cl then £1.50 back on Quidco ClickSnap might interest sb?

Or do any of the comparison calculators compare vs Ocado in any case?

Thanks for the birthday wishes folks, I am not celebrating with bubbly but having a wee ros! as we speak. Not heading to bingo tonight

I got three trolleys and £2.62 so far, thanks to someone who bought a load of müllers. Still more to check but the Sada app is giving me the 6am nonsense again

With the baked potatoes the foolproof way is to cook them at home first in the microwave, stick them in the fridge then just re-heat them in the embers in foil. Otherwise invariably they don't cook well from scratch, burnt on outside, raw on inside etc.

There are loads of things you can cook on a firepit, could you maybe get/ borrow one of these and cook up a stew? Always looks impressive to people watching
