My dad had a last surprise for us he wanted to leave his body to science research and education! As resilient as we are, straight on the internet for info, all arranged with the help of his GP dad if off to St Thomas today at 11am. He will be cremated there afterwards as a thank you so we are not holding a funeral, instead we will celebrate his life with family and friends sometime next month.
He is at peace now and so are we.
This is my wish too. Tears rolling down my face at work here!

Best wishes, GF, you are all obviously so strong. :A:A
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

    Hi aau1.

It was my husband you met in Tesco's. I lurk here occasionally but have never been lucky enough to find 1p or 4p items. Never been very good with the glitches either - I always muck up somehow!!

I want to say a GREAT BIG THANK YOU, to you for helping my hubby this morning, he said you were such a nice guy and your daughter was as cute as a button.

He was thrilled when he called me at work to say he had grabbed a bargain, but even more thrilled that you recognised he was from MSE and went out of your way to help him.
So thank you, thank you, thank you.

I never post because I never have anything interesting to contribute but hopefully I may have in future:D

Have a good weekend Aau1 and everyone else!!

It was my first time recognising an MSEr. Hope you enjoy the chocs. I'm glad they didnt end up going to waste. That store is particularly slow at clearing 1p items by the way :D

    Afternoon everyone :)

Fantastic glut of glitches and bargains today :j

There are lots of wine 2 for £10 sels around and about in Ts - look around the store as I am not finding them in the booze aisle, just in random places. Think they have pulled the offer because of the 25% off promo, so the second discount does not come off :beer:

Eg 6 bottles of Finest Nero D'Avola worked out at £13.55 after DTD and gives a £10 pp on top. Not quite free but 59p a bottle :) Think there are some that will pay you to take them away after DTD and pp, so keep an eye out for the 2 for £10 sels (the ones I have seen say offer runs till 23/04, so easy DTD).

    Afternoon :)

Anyone else noticing a distinct lack of signage for the wine promotion? Just in case anyone wants to buy wine at an express and isn't sure because there's no signs....it works :)

I've been in 4 Ts this morning and none of them had any signage...or any multibuy offers.
    Awaiting a new sig

AVOID! In my view a scam to get your details. Other adverts for points2shop on there and from memory they relieved me of £49 following a free VIP trial (yes I was gullible and stupid!).

I cant definitely say its safe to go for but I was gullible enough to sign up. I didnt have to give any payment details, just my name and address - enough companies have that by now!!!!!

CS sorting out my DTD today said that they had no advance warning of the offer - only found out this morning. Makes getting DTD easier I think because staff are understandably a bit hacked off that these things are dumped on them at short/no notice.
