So what made you venture over to this thread Spiritwood, apart from the twiglet talk of course?“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

[Just doing some workings out RE: Wine]
So with the 2 for £10 wine deal
Hardy's Crest Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 75Cl for example is £10.99 a bottle
£10.99 x 6 = £65.94
£10.99 x 3 = £32.97
3 x £0.99 = £2.97
25% of £65.94 = £16.49
£65.94 - £32.97 - £16.49 - £2.97 = £13.52 for 6 bottles (in theory)
So am I right in saying the £10.99 (on offer at 2 for £10) + 25% off (hopefully original price) is the best ones to try....If all works as previously
Buying 6 on 2f£10 (at 10.99) works out at £2.25pb (supposedly better wine, but the wine isn't worth the £10.99 in the first place)
Buying 6 on 3f£12 (at 6.79) works out at £2.30pb
Perhaps the 25% is an online only deal, then we're all ******* anyway
Any [STRIKE]keen[/STRIKE] mad people at Mr t's now hunting choccies ?
So if they leave old SEL (£2 for £10) on but charge you new price ..
2 x £10.99 = £21.98
minus 25% 5.50 = £16.48
Overcharge of £11.98 x 2 (double the difference) = £23.96 paid back so paid to take away (may be less than £7.48 if the 25% off is rejigged when claiming DTD). Even better if can match with another supermarket for pp (but MSM not playing and I am really going to bed ..). Must add - roughish figures as I know auu1 and CoT will be along with more specific ones.... Fill your boots guys.0 -
