Not sure if it's been posted yet but 10ways are reporting that the 400g milk tray are also going through at 1p :D

Unfortunately my T's only had the 200g ones when I went in last night to find the 600g boxes and I didn't think to check them

Just had major trouting in sada Sl**gh. Using 13 £ apg. made to feel like a criminal and kept waiting for half an hour. Had 2 assistants and 2 security huddling round a computer to check the amount. They said there had been its of fakes so I asked if they were accusing me and the answer was oh no no. Eventually a manager told them to accept it and give me a £5 gift card as good will guesture. Usually it wouldn't have got to me but having a hard time at work so very stressed. But wasn't going to leave my Bombay pots - my sada don't sell them. They better still be working ......

Thats my local sada, and i have become really good friends with the sales assistant. Ive never been trouted there. I do choose wisely though.

Afternoon, very windy here still:eek: we've just been blown back from play group.

Glad there's been lots of success finding the 1 p chocs and 4p items....I'm feeling left out:(

Hugs to those in need this morning/ afternoon.

Those birdie photos are amazing I really need to pay more attention to what birds land in my garden.

Does anyone of you lovely people know how to look after an orchid plant? I rescued 4 from B&Q a few weeks ago, they were just roots in a pot, no compost or anything. I re-planted them in multi purpose compost but I've since read this probably wasn't a good idea!!!!, they had lovely bright green leaves that are becoming duller day by day and the green roots are starting to go crispy. I haven't over watered them, only once a week but haven't fed them with plant food or orchid food. Any help would be greatly appreciated, they only cost me 10p but I would like to give them a chance to thrive.

    Thankyou:)

You need to take the orchids out of that compost ASAP! They will die, it's too rich for them .You need special orchid compost for them. Buy from B&Q or similar. They also do best in clear or white pots, they don't like being packed in either so pot loosely. Leave some of the thick white roots ( called ariel roots) sticking out if the top of the compost, they're supposed to do this.

Dont put on a window in full sunshine. Bright airy room is best. Small amount of water once a week in summer, once a fortnight in winter. They don't like being too wet either.

Ive spent a long time finding all that out :o End of FCs plant class :rotfl::rotfl:

Edit: I should have said if you can't get the soil straight away, take the plants out of the MP soil anyway. They will be better with no soil than being in the MP. In the wild orchids don't grow in soil. The grow on the sides of trees in the rain forest with roots exposed. I lost my first orchid doing exactly what you've done

    Morning all..

My DW told me about a fantastic app last night called Viber. For those of you that already know about it, ignore this post and read on. For those of you that haven't..

Viber is an app that you can install on you smartphone. It allows you to make FREE telephone calls and send FREE texts and pictures to other smartphones anywhere in the world. The only conditions are..

    1. Both mobiles have to have the Viber app installed.
    2. Both mobiles have to be connected to the internet via a wireless broadband connection.

So, if you have any relatives abroad or if you mostly call people who are generally connected wirelessly to a broadband connection, this app could probably save you a load of cash.

The reason I am so excited by this app is that I am off with the family to Majorca for a couple of weeks next month and we will be leaving my MIL home alone. The plan is that I give her my mobile and we take DW’s with us and pay the hotel for internet access whilst we are there (this was the plan anyway). Now, we can phone the MIL or she can phone us any time for free and it takes a bit of the worry out of going abroad.

Have you tried Tango app? Same as viber but you can do a video call, no text option. I use whatsapp for texting.

Greenfingers22 so sorry for the loss of your dad.

Shame they don't pay staff for delays:( dd would be able to buy a house with all the delays she has faced over the years:eek:
Am I right in thinking delays have to be on flights leaving the uk?
Don't think I have had a major delay going out for years but have had plenty coming home.

Anywhere in the EU and if it is more than three hours its 250 euros per person.
I would never have bothered but missed my next flight and had to buy one at the airport at a cost of over 300euros.
Also had to pay twice for car hire as over six hours late.
You can claim back as far as 2002.
Martin has a page about it.
