just wondered if anyone lives neat Penrith?
I've been doing lots of store locator search and it does not seem to have any shops whatsoever  I know there is a Sainsbobs but not sure where and there is a Morrisons close to the station but is there anything else?
We were at C Parcs at Xmas...didn't see anything then. Hth0 -

Hi everyoneShortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Sorry ubb, hope I'm not coming across as GFSB (as I was last night). My point is that regardless of how many flavours were available, if you were doing an A v T shop, buying 10 Activia snackpots costs pretty much EXACTLY THE SAME as buying 4.
I think the maths are..
Buy 4 Activia Snackpots for £1.15 (after apg inc 10%):(
Buy 10 Activia Snackpots for £1.16 (after apg inc 10%):DI went to buy Activias yesterday in Sada but the SEL said 4 for £2. I checked MSM which said 6 for £3 and Sada.com says 10 for £4!
I didn't buy any as I was too worried about what I would end up paying for them but I really want some as I need something for a cheap but healthier breakfast (whoopsied toast is doing nothing for my waistline).
Has anyone bought any Activias today/yesterday who can confirm what they paid for them please or do you think that as the SEL says 4 for £2 they will compare at that despite MSM/Sada.com and I'll end up with very expensive yogurts?
I haven't caught on to this Activia glitch yet, is it similar to the muller one? If so I would think that buying 10 for £4 would give you £2.84 return on APG, making them 12p each as the APG would think that you paid £5.72 (6 for £3 and another 4 at 68p each. Buying fewer than 10 would make them 29p each I think. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.0 -

Glad there's been lots of success finding the 1 p chocs and 4p items....I'm feeling left out:(
Hugs to those in need this morning/ afternoon.
Those birdie photos are amazing I really need to pay more attention to what birds land in my garden.
Does anyone of you lovely people know how to look after an orchid plant? I rescued 4 from B&Q a few weeks ago, they were just roots in a pot, no compost or anything. I re-planted them in multi purpose compost but I've since read this probably wasn't a good idea!!!!, they had lovely bright green leaves that are becoming duller day by day and the green roots are starting to go crispy. I haven't over watered them, only once a week but haven't fed them with plant food or orchid food. Any help would be greatly appreciated, they only cost me 10p but I would like to give them a chance to thrive.
Thankyou:)
Hi i have about 20 around my house and some of mine are on there 6 lot of flowering, one has been flowering since last may.
Its best to put them in a pot of bark or coconut shells i thnk bark chippings are more able to get hold of, not too much waater and in a sunny place they may take a few months to sprout a new stem but be patient, they really do like light window cills, if you have aspare room you dont use put them on the window cill and just leave them good luck.:)0 -
Greetings one and all. Wave to logie, look after yourself, and a hug for greenfinger22, very sorry to hear about your loss. xx
Yesterday brought an unscheduled trip to the local hospital with DD. She stood on an electrical plug (daft receptionist thought I meant a bath plug and was openly sceptical at first :rotfl:) and cut her foot open very badly. She is now hobbling around on a pair of crutches and feeling very sorry for herself, poor thing.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
