Allowing for apg should work out as 20 carlsberg for £9
Fingers crossed, over to you David :rotfl:

I didn't say it was acceptable - objectively it is clearly against MSE rulesI said that to me it is subjective - I am far more concerned about someone's intent today/now and about what they are actually posting/contributing than where they have come from. FK's post is, I think saying the same thing. These spats come up every so often and there will be a message at some point saying report all AEs - use of an AE is against the rules, but on a personal level I can see why folk adopt them and it isn't always to cause harm.
This is a personal opinion and of course dos not reflect MSE or speak for anyone elseWhen it is so that they can post for advice without people they know reading it and making the connection I understand.
I think its best to put all fools on ignore and do just that ignore them, I worry that too much reporting will lead to the thread becoming a pain for admin to police - even though I did report one this morning.
Thank you both - I feel I have a better understanding now.
I really enjoy this forum and as someone said before it's like wearing cosy slippers. Today I think the wooden clogs may have been put on in error0 -

No problems hun, the ae s we tend to get on here should be banned and in general they do cause a problem so the policy is probably the right one overall.0 -

And it is a difficult thing to be consistent on because it can be subjective - I am aware of AEs on here in this category whom I would not at all consider to be trolls and not out to cause ill feeling, and would be sad if they were reported.
but having an AE when you have been banned is not allowed and is definately against MSE rules and such users should be reported. If you have been banned, it is for a reason. A new name does not change that.0 -
Afternoon everyone
From a womble dated yesterday:
A v S
2 x Hartley's Ready to Eat Raspberries in Raspberry Je... £1.56 £1.00
Not sure whats happened here as they are only 66p each in A. They are 2 for £1 in S
I found a womble with some wine that was £5.50 each or 3 for £10. They bought 5 of them. I was wondering if I could take show the receipt to CS saying that I thought I'd bought 6 but only got 5 and could I have another one (for free and £1 refund to make it £10) The only problem is they paid with a card. Just wondering if anyones done anything like this before? Would they have the details of the card holder ?

It isn't acceptable at all. That information is wrong.0
