    Good morning everying.

Started raining here the instant I put the towel wash on :eek::eek:

Glad you're home logie, and hope you get your chemo today, then maybe you can start to close the door on this part of your life. You are an incredible lady and I only hope I would have a half of your attitude if I were so ill. You are dearly loved on this thread.

Indeed, look after the pennys, and the pounds will look after themselves!
I think they need a sort of program where if they are more expensive than Asda, you get double the difference back, all done online, and no voucher limit....oh, hold on :)

Hmm, over Easter hols they've put in 11 (yes eleven!) traffic calming measures on a patch of road I use on the school run.

Mostly the relatively friendly shallow square ones, plus 2 long ones that stretch across the road - still fairly benign though as not too steep and not a rib cracking sleeping policeman as such - but 1 very stupid one (or effective I guess), you know, where they close one lane of the road and give priority to one direction. Always hold-up on the last one as it's a busy road in the mornings.

I'm surprised at how little people value their tyres round here as most people still bomb along at 30mph. Whereas I really slow down and just rumble over the bumps at 15-20mph.

Anyway judging by the way the traffic builds up behind me on this stretch, I am the best traffic calmer around :D

Seriously, if you don't slow down for these bumps you'll either ruin the inside of your tyres (dangerous blow-out potential on the motorway etc) or else ruin your shocks (depending on how you place your vehicle).

2x Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Triple Action Teether Stage 1 (2) £6.00 2x Unavailable N/A
Prices and special offers reflect those of the online grocery websites, and are correct as of 17 April 2013.

So I stupidly assumed they would come back N/A on the APG and not affect it.
    hiya,

has anyone tried the the glitch with the smartie ice creams recently?

    thanks

I was going to yesterday but when making my list I could see they both showed on MyS and that put me off.

Anyway what a fiasco all in all!
I tried to use 3 APGs and one was £10.04....she accidently put it through as £100.04!! After paying she asked me to wait and leave my card in so she could get an override. She called for someone and they said they were on way.......waiting....waiting.....she called them again, on way.......waiting....woman behind was worried about missing her bus and moved to next checkout....waiting....poor baby screaming for his dinner - I was so stressed, in hindsight I should have calmed down and just lifted him out and started to feed him while waiting but I'm still at the stage where I start to panic as soon as he gets upset :'( anyway SA calls someone else and said she was still waiting but they must have forgot....reply was 'oh she's gone on her break!'
    Sooooo angry!

Anyway went straight to a cafe and fed DS and for some reason looked at receipt and despite marking and signing all 3 receipts and taking coupons she hadn't deducted one for over £5...so I went back and complained, they went through the till to find the matching APG and then gave me cash out of the till.

    What a faff on!
    Dream of being mortgage free....
