Hi honey. Hope you are OK. I get hayfever too. It could be to do with that, but I have always had these awful headaches/migraines when the sun comes out. I can wear sunglasses and a cap and it makes no difference. I am glad everyone else is enjoying the sun though. I can't stand it!

    Yes thanks
Hope your migraine calms down soon.

I had an attempted trouting in first store today. SA saw price of 1p on her monitor. Said "sorry, i'm not allowed to sell you those". I asked why. Manager was passing. She called on him and he said same thing

I simply said "can't or won't? I have bought 1p clearance items before". He said ok then. :rotfl:

Simple as that for me today.

    Here's a thought Mr T. If you don't want to/can't sell at 1p ... Don't have them on display?!

    Morning all

Just want to say a big thank you for all the posts about the cadburys thank you chocolates at 1p.

These are the first 1p items I have ever had, I managed to pick up 12 from my Local store Inxxby Bxxwick.

I nearly did get trouted as usual over the Del Monte juice said I only could put through 1 voucher.

Thanks again will be sharing these chocolates amongst my friends today.

Well done claire1972 -I am so glad someone has had a successful shopping trip to that store near me! Have you had any luck with the DVDs in our area:rotfl:

Not seen it mentioned but the Mother's Day little pink mesh bag of pink chocolate hearts are also 1p.

Sorry I cant get barcode just now as they are in the car and I have been hit with lazyitus. :rotfl:
I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've joined the 5:2 club cos mrT made me eat 1p chocolate.

In Florida they have a wave pool at a Disney park and I fell in the waves and skinned my backside and both knees, great look for holiday and then had to cover them up completely at home or put up with carpet burn jokes.:o

    So both knees and bottom:o

I've not tried for any, although the glitcher in me wants to, the "I'm going on holiday in less than two weeks" me is saying no :rotfl:

I got home from work this evening and some careless bint had left a carrier bag full of stuff on my drive. They're lazy sods around here and drive their [STRIKE]brats[/STRIKE] little darlings all of 100 yards to and from school  anyway, inside this bag are loads of yellow carbon copies of what looked like a statement, so I read it, and it was a statement of disciplinary hearing for gross misconduct  I rang the company concerned and within 20 mins, someone had come to pick it up. I just binned the rest of her stuff. If she is stupid enough to leave her stuff on my drive then that's her lookout.
